On Tuesday, October 8th, two of the Collaborative Community Mission board members received their Certificates of Completion in the Cavity Free Kids Oral Health training courtesy of Chris Tedesco at Holy Cross Head Start. The Cavity Free Kids Initiative provides educators, families, and children birth through age five with the education, materials, training, and resources to have adequate dental hygiene. The Collaborative Community Mission and Little Learners Preschool Program received curriculum guides, dental supplies, and literature (including a puppet with teeth and a giant toothbrush) so that we can join the mission in educating our community on the importance of dental hygiene. The Collaborative Community Mission is now certified to provide this same training to families in the community and look forward to offering this service in the future.
