CCM Independence Connection Session - LakeShore Public Library

Weekly classes for adolescents who could benefit from life skills training to support their independence. A variety of topics are covered over the course of the school year- grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, organizing, time management, self-care, job skills, money management, & relationship skills

CCM Auditory Processing - Angola Library
4:00pm to 4:30pm
Geared toward upper elementary and middle school students. This class will focus on training the brain to make sense of what is heard, to improve listening and comprehension skills. Strategies will be learned and practiced: rehearsal, chunking, visualization, & association.
Class runs for 8-weeks on Mondays: 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/5, 12/12, from 4-4:30pm at the Angola Public Library.

CCM Social Skills- Angola Library
4:30 to 5:00pm
Geared toward upper elementary and middle school students. This class will focus on emotional well-being, coping strategies, & improving communication skills for social interactions with peers and adults. Taught through explicit instruction, role play, & carry-over tasks. This class runs for 8-weeks on Mondays:
11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/5, 12/12, from 4:30-5:00pm at the Angola Public Library.

CCM Literacy Connection - Angola Library
5:00pm to 5:45pm
Join Speech-Language Pathologist, Mrs. Allison Manning, for a 6-week CCM Literacy Connection group this winter. Geared toward upper elementary students of all ability levels, this class will focus on reading comprehension, auditory processing, and social skills. Each participant will receive a FREE copy of the book,"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," by Barbara Robinson.

Independence Connection Northtowns - Terra House
Ages 10-19

Join The Collaborative Community Mission as it launches a brand new Independence Connection. This cooking class will be geared to help individuals with disabilities gain various skills within a kitchen. This class will focus on: basic kitchen skills, healthy choices, kitchen safety, food in relation to health. This month we will be making a breakfast pizza and fruit tray.

CCM Language Connection & CCM Yoga Connection - BTC Fitness
5:00 to 5:30pm
Join us for our FREE CCM Yoga Connection and CCM Language Connection Class at BTC Fitness Center in Hamburg, NY. Students will be listening and participating in a thanksgiving-themed book and activity followed by yoga poses for fun a fund and interactive combo class!

A $20/per family donation will be collected upon arrival to the event.
Join us for a youth bootcamp run by owner of Rise Fitness Studio LauRen.
