Patient Santa was started with the goal of giving families touched by Autism the opportunity to have the Santa experience they might otherwise not be able to. What we did not realize ten years ago was how much these events would give to us. We are so blessed to have met so many families, receive all the kind emails, the smiles, and tears of joy. We are confident the CCM team will not only continue the events, but they will improve and continue to expand them. While this is a transition, it is not a goodbye. We plan to continue to volunteer at the events, continue to spread Christmas Spirit, and look forward to seeing all of the families every year.

 

We always managed Patient Santa as anonymous as possible, ensuring the events were about the children, not about the volunteers. However, we cannot transition without giving the proper thanks to the Eastern Hills Mall team, who has welcomed us with open arms from the very beginning. WBBZ, who have graciously offered their studio as the activity area. Last but not least, our family and friends who helped start it all and supported us each and every year.
